Morwena Wheatley

Morwena Wheatley

Morwena studied design at Art College in Liverpool but spent most of her working life as an administrator.  It was only when she was semi retired that she took up her paint and brushes again to enjoy painting once more.  And that remains her focus despite later gaining a City and Guilds in ceramics as well as a teacher’s certificate.

These days Morwena enjoys ‘experimenting and playing with paints’ and painting for pleasure.  That means dabbling in oil, water colour, collage and acrylic.  She describes her subject range as eclectic with a style that has elements of both the traditional and semi abstract.
