Autumn 2019 program

Our programme of demonstrations for the Autumn starts on Friday 27th September

September 27th: Graham Lowe. Portrait in Acrylic. Many of us know Graham for his wildlife painting and his Acrylic workshops. However, he is an experienced portrait artist as well so we can look forward to a skilful demonstration.

October 25th: Peter Slater. Lancaster scene in watercolour.

Peter is well known to the society, having demonstrated several times and also facilitated aworkshop with his friend Bob Henfrey. He will demonstrate a cityscape from Lancaster.

November 15th. Graham Twyford. Oil or Acrylic.

Graham is a LADAS regular and we welcome him back again. At this point we don’t have atopic for his demo but can guarantee that it will be interesting and enjoyable.

December 8th: Peter Layzell. Landscape in oils?

Peter has demonstrated a portrait with great success and it will be interesting to see one of his landscapes, although this topic is to be confirmed. That will be the last meeting before Christmas, so we wish you a very happy Christmas.

The programme for the new year will follow ASAP.I hope to be running a Saturday workshop on February 8th 2020 & for the first time, will beheld at Slyne Memorial Hall. Peter Threlfall will lead this Acrylic workshop. TBC.
