The photos show a few of the members who attend the Thursday afternoon Open Art at the Old Grammar School, Bolton le Sands. This was the first of members demonstrations with Roger Salmon showing some techniques he has learnt in art workshops. He showed us how to create interesting and colourful images with pouring paint and also cling film. You can also see some of his lovely acrylic landscapes which he creates largely with a pallet knife. We hope to have demonstrations from other members showing techniques they have picked up on courses and at workshops. This is an informal session and the demos may be just a few minutes but we hope this will interest new members. There are spaces in the Open Art and we ask for £2:50 per session to help with the cost of the room and refreshments. Please come along and join us.
